香’s Visit

I had received an sms on Monday night. It was from 香. She told me that she would be coming to Singapore again and staying for 2 weeks’ time. “Shall we meet tomorrow night for dinner if you have time?” She proposed. “Of course, I’d love to” The following night, we met at Orchard MRT station. We went for some shopping before dinner. Dinner was at the Crystal Jade in Takashimaya. “How are your cats?” I always ask her this question because I myself am also a cat lover. Knowing that she has 3 lovely cats at home, this is definitely one of my biggest concerns. “The loveliest one just passed away this July due to cancer. He was 14 years old this year. The vet said that he’s now too old for an operation. We could do nothing but watch him die. I’ve been very sad these few months. Seeing him unable eat was indeed a torment for me. That’s’ why recently I seldom touch the internet. I completely lost my mood.” It’s was indeed a shocking piece of news for me as I asked her the same question early this year when she visited Singapore. “They are all fine. I need to take care of them and take turns with my mom. That’s why I can’t visit Singapore so often.” Was her answer at that time. She seemed to be in quite high spirits and never revealed to me even a tiny little sign of any problems. It came on quite all of a sudden I guess. Ay, nowadays even cats can get cancer. But I can fully understand her feelings as I have experienced a similar thing when I was a little girl. Each time after a pet had died, I always cried until my eyes were swollen and it would take a long time to heal my wounds. The above mentioned cat had one twin sister still living together with him before he finally passed away. How will his sister feel? It might not take too long before 香 will also lose her as she’s already 14 years old. It will be even more difficult for her when that time comes. God bless them!

1。智さん: 彼女は 北海道の札幌から きました。彼女はアロマセラピスト兼美容家です。イギリスで美容の勉強をしてタイでスパマネージャーをしていました。いろいろな 美容の 知識を たくさんしっている。語学の勉強することも 文化も大好きです。日本語や、英語や、中国語や、泰語なとを話すことができます。私達は 今 一緒に 語学を 勉強しています。

2。ゆさん: 彼女は 東京から きました。今シンガポールのアメリカ系企業で 仕事を しています。ご飯を作るのが とても 上手です。そして食べることも大好きで、なんでもたべることができます。そのほかに いろいろな 趣味がある。たどえば、生け花・フラワーアレンジメントと、旅行と、写真の撮るなと。去年私達は 一緒に マレーシヤの Cameron Highland に いきました。
ゆは、今年一月末 日本へ 帰りました。"今、私は visual Basic, powerpoint excel などなど色々なコンピュータのこと を 勉強しています。半年後、シンガポールに戻って 良い仕事があればいいな。"彼女は いつもそんなことを言います。私は 彼女の成功を祈ります。


3。香さん:彼女は 東京から きました。今シンガポルで 英語を 勉強しています。旅行とdesign と写真の撮るのを上手です。猫が大好きで、日本で大きな猫を2匹飼っています。かわいいものが大好きで、携帯を自分でデコレーションしたりします。私達は 去年 一緒に泰の Phuket に いきました。ほんとに 楽しいでした。

有香さんは、去年二月に日本に帰りました。それから、私たちは、あまり連絡をしません。突然、彼女からfacebookのメッセージを受け取りました。私は一月二十三日から二月二十二日までシンガーポルに行きます。ぜひ会いましょうと言いました。本当に嬉しかったです。
長い時間だけど、彼女は 私を忘れていない。そして、私たちは 何度もAng Mo Kioで午飯を食べて、そのあと私の学校にいきました。たくさん写真を撮りました。


4。 美さん: 私達の tenant です。大阪出身です。今シンガポルの日本の会社 Epson のエンジニヤです。日本和風西洋料理が とても上手です。いつも家で作ります。大人しい人ですから、あまりしゃべらない。

5。鈴木さん: 埼玉から 来ました。今シンガポルの清水建設のmanagerです。趣味はマジックです。カードや果物を使って色々なマジックを披露してくれます。とても上手で面白いです。いつも出張があり、とても忙しいです。


6。奈さん: 東京から来た人です。彼女は去年の年の初めにシンガポールに来ました。一年くらい英語を勉強しました。8月に日本へ戻りました。 いま、新しい仕事ファッションデザイナーをしているそうです。 東京は遠いから会うことができません。 facebookで友達になりました。 時々、メッセージを交換しています。 近いうちに東京に行きたいです。 奈さんと一緒にご飯を食べたいです。
